It’s easier for blood-related descendants to inherit the Arts because their bloodline has adapted to the support-type Arts
Also, people with Arts gems can all do this without the annoying process Lyle had to go through.
Lyle’s case where the spirits inside gatekeep him from using their Arts is special because The Walt House’s blue gem became a blue jewel after 7 generations.

I actually regret a bit not having read the LN from JNovel even if the series isn't complete.

It increases all of his abilities physical and magical around 20% and always stores extra mana in his body so rather than topping off at his limit he has a larger pool to take from when he needs it. Theyre probably saving the explanation for later though

They are only at first stage, not cheat-level yet. Lyle doesn't have enough mana. Remember he needs The First's "Full Over" to use these.
