This manga's story arc is proceeding in a.... creepy yet vaguely optimistic manner.
The girls are treating this bizarre Dungeon as a theme park, where the newly oriented members get to go on a quick date with Saino-kun. Sure, this dweeb is using the opportunity to rizz up Natsuno-san, but it should be fine as long as he keeps her safe.
I was about to criticize his idea of "stand back, sit pretty,
watch daddy till the fields, then let's f*ck later" in his stunt, but I'm glad he let Natsuno-san do some work as well. Ladies thrive on a fulfilled sense of purpose (as do most people, me included, regardless of gender), plus the headpats are a nice reward for the cutie. I hope their live-in situation turns out to be nice and heartwarming.
The discussion gave some interesting perspective as well. I've been dwelling on the tragedy of the girls' mindbreak from an outside perspective, sure, but I may have closed off the girls as "mindless" as a consequence. What right do I have to disregard their identities and perspectives after the ordeal, simply because they "know they had intense mind-break s*x with Saino-kun"?
The deed had been done. The truth is out, even. The lust had been injected and the fact will stay in their minds but... isn't bodily pleasure too brief to be a substitute for love? For recognition of the innermost self? For affection and genuine concern to whom they deem close? For forgiveness and camaraderie in spite of the painful truth being out for all the girls to see?
It's compelling, then, for them to still "love" Saino despite knowing that their relationships started from deception and the highest form of sexual assault... a multi-layered violation of any person's humanity. Is this simple acceptance? Are they actually acknowledging Saino's potential for goodness, based on his actions and promise of responsibility?
I'm thinking too much into this. And one more thing: I heard contraceptives absolutely suck for the ladies. For each of them to take it in light of all the unprotected creampie s*x like it's a normal thing, I feel... bad.
Hence the headcanon for reading H-manga: everyone is sterile, this is just an escape, internalize your ethics, and enjoy.
(oh shit, I forgot about the scary dungeon admin phantom. maybe the creepy possession look is out of her control. i sense no malice, and she's too damn nice if not a bit too aware of the orgy she's encouraging)
