I've been a fan of Toshiharu Ikeda's film (and his work as a director in general) for many years. The movie is what got me to finally buy the manga. I was just curious. Turned out film is a very loose adaptation. But I found the manga to be completely and utterly insane in ways that were probably deemed unfilmable, so of course I decided to translate all 4 volumes. Buckle up. You ain't seen nothing yet.

Really happy you're picking this up! and your right so far this is really going way off into darker areas then the movie did! I'm fully buckled in for one wild ride!
