Regardless of them tagging it as a harem, how stupid is it to set up the first chapter with a couple that goes into a flashback to show that they had mutual feelings all along and then only at the very end go "welp, he's gonna have a harem!"?

If the author wanted to do a bunch of different monster girls he should've either done an anthology or a series with a bunch of different couples as overlapping storylines.

Because what's the point of a harem when we either already know the victorious girl or it's going to turn out that flashback was a giant cheat and the other girls were there the whole time conveniently just off-panel?

Yeah that's what I found weird, I was like is it a series where theres only 1 love and the rest of the "harem" are just side women who will never get with the MC but the last pages kinda killed that thought process. Just so dang odd to have this be a harem with a setup that puts it at a rom-com level.

Not really. Once that guy dropped the sex for serialization it just became endless nonsense. This guy actually fucks which makes it way better
