Further notes on Pandora's "history lesson" - the Olmecs were an ancient tribe (now recorded as "extinct") that used to live in South America, and (fun fact) were the first recorded peoples to utilize rubber, and were most definitely a powerhouse civilization for this reason. The statues they left behind are strikingly African, which begs the question, how did they get there? Where did they go?
The history of Ancient America is as mysterious as it is interesting.
