"(you) have gone through (something)" is proper English.
She's begging so, if you'd put the word please to the beginning, only "don't" would work.

I was simply wrong with my translation. I went and read it again and I don't know how I got it that wrong, I must been blind and read the katakana as madamada rather than metameta. So it is now actually correct.
