Something about Aoi really rubbed me wrong this chapter. I know shes just doing her job and that she justifiably hates Sayaka but her laughing while potentially being moments away from witnessing kurumi be brutally murdered was just creepy. Even Misaki has empathy for her, and she was the one most screwed over by all of this (aside from Kurumi herself). it's freaky how heated she gets about Misaki's situation but doesn't care at all about kurumi. I hope if they actually meet she'll change

sure, trust the random sign

Still no a girls love tag? even if romance isn't the 'focus', mc is canonically in love with a girl, even if it's one sided/unrequited. Tho i guess if ppl start from the beginning after seeing it, they might be disappointed by a lack of 'relationship' , unless ppl think it's gonna be some 'toxic yuri' with mc and sayaka

I no longer remember, is the Regis network mind-controlling people? Because otherwise I don't see how common folk would try to apprehend, much less lynch a supposedly dangerous escapee like that.

Same reaction happened at the beginning of the story so people are probably taught that that is the way they’re supposed to respond. The way they spoke at the beginning also made it seem like Regis has blamed something on the escapees that gives regular citizens an incentive to hate them. Also, her being dangerous is why they were trying to apprehend her—notice how everyone who sprung into action are fit young adult men. They were probably trying to protect everyone else, combined with the propaganda that she’s something a good citizen should try to get rid of.

I'd understand one or two men doing that, but half a dozen of them? While shouting things like "kill her"? Not giving up on the chase even after one of their fellows suddenly collapsed out of nowhere? That's hardly normal behavior in my book.

The way people in the story act is just kind of weird in my opinion. Like how everyone in the world completely accepts that the "non-human primates" aren't human and don't have rights, even though they obviously are human. Not to mention the absolute trust everyone in the world has in the Regis Corporation.
