She specifically mentioned the past so she should know the position she’s putting him in… Although, I guess with youth comes immaturity and not thinking things through. But also, it’s specifically stated “autumn’s night”, implying that her coming at this hour was some event that happened in the past. For her to be self-aware that she IS from the past… I dunno. Maybe it’ll be explained.
But damn, current Jia saw the empty condom and paired with the missed calls?? You betcha her worry and anxiety came back like a fucking tsunami. Just look at that glare. Growing uneasiness and insecurities hits hard, tbh. I mean, sure, you may have a longstanding relationship spanning around 15 years, but you never really know if they’re 100% faithful or not. Even if you thought they were and this was solid at some point, the lie with the condom only serves to create a rift in that trust.
Regardless of the fact that she could most likely find someone else with her looks at her age… Well, that’s still pretty depressing if she has to do that. Definitely will still have the initial thought of “Well, now what? What do I do now?” and probably not pursue another relationship for at least a year, assumably.
I’ve heard women can still feel their partner “doing it” or “letting it out” inside even if they have a condom on, so either she checked the trash after because of that suspicion, or something else.
Either way, as soon as he threw away the empty condom, I knew something was gonna happen. He shoulda prolly jacked off with the condom on to cover up the fact just so he’d be sure that he was safe from being found out. He didn’t even so much as bother burying it in the rest of the trash…

Damn depressing chapter overall. Can’t have him doting on one of them while neglecting the other. Bro’s literally living in the past. His thinking was pretty logical though, thinking his friend did something. If he’s even comfortable sharing his sex life with bro, wonder if he’ll mention something about this unless things get better soon and fast. Obviously it’d be fine way later down the road though, considering Chapter 0.

The foreshadowing on the question the friend posed to him seemed organic though, considering the situation. So overall, nice foreshadowing. The long conversation played in well with the flow of the story too, if that makes sense. Or well, the flow of the story in and of itself is great.
Next chapter, lol. Wonder what’ll happen… Gonna read the next one. Wonder how they’ll react to meeting each other and how the situation as a whole will flesh itself out. Interesting plot despite it being a softcore pornhwa, ngl. Provided a lot of decent backstory too.
