In case anyone wondering who the fifth concubine is it's the one who delivered the aphrodisiac to Feng and the maid is the one who had the fungal infection on her hands (which was cured.) Manga cut most of interactions with MC out but in LN the MC helped both with various situations and paired them together.
While I agree Concubine Han should be less outgoing, especially considering the culture seems to really focus on appearances regardless of the reality, it's likely more due to trying to be eye catching and training from her days as a prostitute in order to attract more customers as workers comp and minimum wage are modern ideas and thus rather than a salary to pay for food to eat only got a fragment of whatever the customers paid as rest was taken by the brothel to pay for upkeep, rent, and any other excuse to gouge money.
In any case, Fourth Miss is making too many demands on her mother along with physical abuse which is taking it's toll.
