This manhua hasn't said anything about why Hao Yue doesn't make an appearance anymore, and I can't remember the reason from the novel anymore. It was last seen when Haochen discovered Elux's tower, I believe, though Haochen said Austin Griffith can save him from the demon capital by summoning, if necessary, yet I don't think it was actually shown at that point anymore (I might be remembering wrong). Perhaps it has got something to do with the tower, since Heaven's Calamity said it's a good place.
