Chika's a zombie being sustained by Miwako. As explained by Miwako herself, she'll die the moment Miwako stop feeding her. Miwako is an otherworldly manipulator, the quintessential charismatic vampire. Pretty much everything she has done, including the final scene when she "saved" Rotarou, was to bend his will into a wholehearted servant.

This's definitely a better love story than twilight.

ya basically our mc embrace (accepted) the life he will have to live... aka being a murderer and feeding miwako with human's heart... and miwako pays him with her shiga? i dunno if the shiga is the fang or the liquid thing... wonder how human still exist... or just japan when the blood race exist... since forever

I feel like with osamu embracing the dark side, there's probably a character that could potentially balance him entering the story. And his character could be the opposite of osamu (from dark to light).

Anyway osamu already head over heels toward miwako because her manipulative act so i feel like the only way to fill the rest of the story before ending is new 'permanent' character.
