Wow, so Gennosuke is left broken after that grudge match. I was sure he would've stayed proud and strong, but he's surprised me. I like it, actually. It's tragic, it adds more weight to the situation and more potential development for him and Mie (although I'm still unsure what she's feeling towards both Genno and Iraku).
I'm also surprised to see Karou dead after all that happened. I kinda doubt his son can carry the legacy, especially after they brought some disfavour onto their family name. I wonder if the son is going to actually break the ties and try his luck as a ronin - out of desperation or inspiration, following Iraku vs Genno duel.
