"Dissapointed"- that's probably the best definition of how you feel. Because I do feel that way too. The manga from the very beginning was mediocre-okay-ish, it wasn't bad per se; it just lacked the ambition to be anything better or to offer anything more from the very beginning. Just your typical run-of-the-mill time-killer with a typical over-the-top MC who “solves problems” in an equally over-the-top way. But as time went on, we were led to believe that all of this was leading up to some mysterious “something,” that the ending would offer us something more substantial- or at least on a larger scale- and that’s what we, as readers, were kinda expecting. And in the end, we were left massively disappointed when the MC faced off against some villain who- honestly who the hell was he again?- because aside from maybe two mentions throughout the entire manga, we never learned anything significant about him aside from "he's the MCs old enemy"... and the whole much-hyped "epic battle to save the world(tm)" was wrapped up in two short chapters, with the ultimate resolution coming down to the typical cliché of “I will defeat you with the power of friendship... and this (magical) shotgun”.
