Just as predicted, Motoko had a mental breakdown as she couldn't find Iwao who murdered her children Shihori, Shigeki and husband Isami.

Toshio shouldn't keep her in the dark that Iwao was already dealt with by Natsuno, by tying him to a tree and letting the sun do it's execution... dunno why he did that.

It was his father Shinmei technically, something he should knew as after his letter he went to Kirishiki mansion and didn't inform neither his mother nor anyone in the temple about Shiki infestation of the town, sealing their fate.

Albeit everything Tatsumi did is wrong, he is right about Shiki being a lower form and Sunako plan to make the whole village full of vampires would make their "food" very short, solely depending on people kidnapped from the city or highway, which would make the town easily discovered.

Oh how the tables have turned, hunter became the pray and facing death is praying to anything for saviour...

Why? Sunako mentioned she killed hundreds if not thousands, with little of them becoming Shiki, not realizing she could feed from blood bags, something well known since 18th century.
