Kyouko was basically a gold digger, she had no romantic feelings towards him most likely and so did Toshio realized halfway through the experiment, as he finally clearly thought through their "relationship".

So Kyouko became even more bored when the "epidemic" struck the town, feeling lonely the first thing she did was cheating with Tatsumi as he just visited her to either feed on her or turn into a vampire, because her husband was reasonably preoccupied with chaos the "epidemic" was doing.

Don't feel sorry for what Toshio did to her, not only because after the first bitting she was on the straight path to become a vampire and after her "death" became basically an animal that will feed on anyone without any human feelings as they're just cattle for them, but also because she got what deserved for being a gold digger unfaithful cheater.

Oh well, now at least they know a beheading or good ol' steak to the heart works and so is sunlight on recently turned people.

Also, I kinda take back Toshio was cucking himself when he let Tatsumi bite Kyouko as he please or Tatsumi NTR him, if they weren't really romantically engaged in arranged marriage...

The tables have turned, it's vampire hunting time!
