So much Heisei energy in this manga. This is exactly the kind of ecchi shenanigans one would expect in an ecchi romcom from the Heisei era. Although to be fair, it seems the novels began to be written in the closing years of the Heisei era. Shouldn't expect Reiwa energy from this.
I don't think I'm a prude, but all the nudity in the first half of this chapter felt odd, contrived even, and way too distracting from the dialog, actually detracting from the conversation. I hope it's not because they're using this as a crutch to shore up poor sales.
Finally getting to confront the betrayers, this should be good. Or at least I hope it is. First, Zemeld the Earth hero and his lackey Emily, a princess(?). I wouldn't trust Emily after all this time, even if she was "just following orders" or something. She needs to earn his trust back and that should be difficult.
