Typical..."my daughter did nothing wrong, why I'm paying?" The same kind of parents who say their son/daughter are perfect little angels and can do no wrong and gets mad at you for doing your job and dropping the hammer.

Is that parent stupid or something. It’s one thing if it’s he says she says situation, this one they have a video recording so clear they were able to identify the perps clear enough that they found the address and school.
Kids do stupid things and make mistakes, so settle things privately and call it a day, while making sure the parent and the kid learn from it. Legalities aside, if it were to leak (or even rumors/stories) it’s your kid’s social life and future prospects that would be affected.

That said I wouldn’t be surprised to see parents like that, there are always some out there and I feel bad for their kids.
This series does manage to put these societal quirks/issues in while making sure they’re only a mere passing background and nothing to invested about, which is nice.
