My opinion. I'm not even going to fight the drama bruh

Let's start this out 10/10, MC gets ditched because they get mysteriously drawn to the guy, which has no other meaning. -3 points. MC repeatedly talked about being a "mob," which does get annoying after the first few chapters. -1 point. FMC gets a rare disease or something and can hear colors or whatever, which I will give a pass cause something like that exists. +0 point. Oh yes, the self-centered guy is realistic, like who isn't. +1 point. The FMC likes the MC in a short time, cause you don't hear anything from him, doesn't mean you want to be friends with him, IT TAKES TIME TO GET CLOSE. -2 points. Also, I'm sorry how this is NTR since last I checked, 3 girls liking a boy that likes another girl that likes another boy IS NOT NTR THEY WERE NEVER TOGETHER. It's a complicated love shape, plus ChatGPT agrees with me. ANYWAYS. MC stands up to other guy I forgot is decent enough and HOLY MOLY THE SISTER SUCK. -3 points. But she stands up for him +3 points. And MC stands up so +2. I guess that's the story thus far. OVERALL RATING OF A NERD: 7/10 ish?

Ill be honest it like a 8.5/10 for me so far, then again I read this after reading a really sad story so maybe I'll read it again and see how I feel. People are complaining a lot about the story and Mc and FMc but I like the idea of her being able to tell how someone feels through hearing you dont get many stories with one of your senses being the cause of distance. I will say that while they fall for each other quickly, as someone who has done this exact thing I can whole heartdly see this being a case of love at first sight kind of premise but they dont quite understand it until they get to know each other. As for the step sister I think I like/dislike her, for one she almost instantly thinks about snitching until she hears the brother say he is routing for her so that's a red flag but I like how she realized how her step brother feels and takes the opportunity to help him get with the FMc so that the guy she likes can have eyes for her so to say. Now this once again may change if I reread it in like a month but for now it's a 8.5/10.

felt really rushed with a terrible storyline. There was so much momentum—lots of characters you could build on. But no, forget about the childhood friend. Forget about his sister, who still has her story. No repercussions for the fake MC, all in the background. And then they cut to marriage. What a waste. I enjoyed it until the final chapter.

If you want to experience the story proper, you'll need to go to the LN. This manga is good, but the axe cuts away so much that it makes the good ending hollow.

Koutarou as the MC is pretty frustrating, even if I get how he got to this point. Still, him obsessing over being the side character is not a great personality trait to have. Gameifying people is really.. cringe, to say the least. Beyond that, he is a very plain character. On the other hand, Shiho is a fun character that struggles to better herself beyond just her "special skill." She was the highlight, but I did enjoy seeing Azusa grow some too.

The story is where the manga is at its weakest, mainly because of the axe. There is a LOT of set up, only for it to go no where. What is here is actually pretty interesting, especially with dealing with Ryuuzaki. The issue is that the story needs at minimum double the chapters to really get the time and space to grow and expand into what could have been amazing.

7/10 I do NOT recommend reading this, as I say just read the LN. I haven't read it, so I don't know if it is good or not.. BUT I know that the more full experience it offers will overall be better than the manga. Axe-kun really hurt the series, even if I enjoyed what was here. Maybe I'll make this the first LN I ever read.
