Yeah you're probably right about that, it just annoys me because the story had pretty much no drama until now and even with the weird premise it has been an amazing romcom because of that, also because it has actual relationship progress. And sure this is barely actual drama and will be sorted out shortly but why add it in the first place, especially with the "how about we act as if we aren't dating" part...

I forget if we already had a plot here relying on Hoshi being liked by other girls, but this at least shows how commited he is to her, and kinda shows growth from how before he had a wish of being liked by girls, now he truly is dedicated to his relationship with Eruko.

I just hope this actually gets Eruko to loosen herself a bit and actually start to be a bit more selfish in regards to Hoshi-kun being liked by other girls. Just some progression on that side, now that she has a bit more confidence in herself from the stuff at her previous job. Else this aside would be...kinda frustrating.
