OH MY GOD SO THIS IS THE REAL CULPRIT ALL THESE YEARS

yooo I'm fucking cracked I can't believe I actually deduced the correct culprit after re-reading the series all of these years. Author was right he did atleast for the most part actually set out all of the threads for the mystery to be solved. I'm pretty content lmao.

I was so close to the real culprit all those years. But I have a question for fellow readers, where the hell did Azuma come from? And why in the end it's kind of implied that Hibiki is treating Asuma as her brother and not Shizuka ?

The only part that was really messing me up was on why Shizuka would hold the machete after the mom had killed herself. But everything else made sense that since in the first request hibiki fulfilled we saw a frail woman wishing for a strong body to then murder people was a prelude to the real answer.

The RE also creates a few other mysteries, on who's Shizuka's real dad and what was the real reason Minamida kidnapped Shizuka. Also, i imagine both Shizuka and Asuma are shinigami or some sort of assistants now since they both should be dead dead.

Also i prefered the og's art, though i respect they tried to make the characters look alike on this.
