(My prediction)
Full incoming TROPE chapter of "why am I not good enough with necromancy" whining, abuse, and obsessive behavior, followed up by the last page of MC crying in despair and release... and then acting as if he never was upset in the first place, and complete forgiveness from every party member he hurt.

The story would be more believable without this incoming behavior; he will almost certainly only act like this for one chapter... which means its not trauma; it's a fucking ACT.
