This version of the medicine-making moon rabbit is certainly a character. "It's like she totally got what she deserved!" lol. The most sympathetically aggravating quest NPC ever.
Our murder gremlin shows us once again how awesome she is. "I'm here for times like this." This manga could shift into a battle shōnen if it wanted to; the action is top-notch.
Anyway, this chapter explores the idea of beauty and human connection. It links the two ideas together: the love people feel and the sacrifices people make for each other is what makes them beautiful. This all ties back to the moon rabbit, whose role in East Asian mythology symbolizes exactly that. As Ridley thinks this chapter: "with your words, I can accomplish anything! That's why the Lunarian really appreciated Watari and Ridley, while Luna – who is consistently said to be physically beautiful, but not at all beautiful on the inside – is repulsive.
When Luna asks, "why are you doing all this for me?" The answer is because Watari and Ridley are very loving people. I think the last panel this chapter shows a shift in Luna's understanding. From Luna's perspective, Watari once again looks beautiful; this time, though, it is because she is willing to save Luna no matter what. Her strength makes up for Luna's flaws when Watari says: "I'm super strong. You know that."

Last chapter I wanted to put a hole through someone
Or that was a few ago... Right
I recall where we are now
I mean... She is a shit person
But that doesn't mean one shouldn't at least try as hard as they can to save a life
Who knows perhaps the near death experience will convince her to turn a leaf
Hell I'm pretty sure kept of what she's done came from the inevitably of death to begin with
Acknowledgement of wrongdoing and punishment for such wrongdoing sounds like the capability to do better to me?
And who's to deny the option of that???
Well I dunno about that you got kinda immediately subdued last time you tried to stop her
If she shows to reject redemption then one needs to off her on the spot
Secretly inject a micro bomb in her neck beforehand and when it's done and if she turns to do more harm then nuke it
She had her chance... Though obviously it's not gonna come to that... Right?
