It's been so long since I've read a conversation this engaging, a mix of philosophy and impactful diplomacy is blend masterfully by the creators.
I would've thought the 1st Qin Prince is already on top of the game when he talked about meritocracy and the near-confirmed fact that a bad king will come in a and seemingly going for a checkmate by confirming that a war with Qin will definitely happen (a nation that claim to be strong can't just accept an insult like that lying down after all), but the Kusanagi fake prince manage to turn it around with a simple question ("why are you a general?") and even successfuly demand a province and a bow, the latter symbolically confirm that Kusanagi won't be "the children" of this relationship.
I feel a bit bad for the 2nd Qin Prince, mostly because his brother probably don't remember him as a person
