Side note, reading therapy really is a thing here in the UK - it's not uncommon to find a reading list prescribed alongside talking therapy or medicine as another form of assistance. It isn't given as a "you must read!" kind of thing, but as a "these books will help inform you about your condition and may offer some useful skills" thing. If it helps, it helps.

This last chapter made me cry. It was the desperation on the mother's face when she just cried out "What do I do?".
That hits home hard, fam. Hard.
Now im at work, crying, lol. Lucky my desk faces the wall.
