soo it is a murderer in a isolated space plot but with special twists

Actually, this is a really cool idea for a murder mystery. The killer can disguise himself as any of the other characters without any surefire way of confirming his identity. It's also totally possible that the author's going the lazy route and he's pretending to be the cat.
