Basically not a story built in that is worth mentioning. The manga focuses on swordfights, and I personally only see fight scenes in most mangas as a means to an end unless it´s super engaging (which this is not unfortunately). There is no build up other than "I want to fight heroes", so I can't really say I emphasize with the character.
The art is good tho, so it gets a 6/10 from me
