I have actually read all the other titles you listed and you're correct, those are wish fulfilling power fantasy series that I also read as comfort food.

However what separates them from this manhua IMO is that they’re actually interesting, with compelling story telling and semblance of plot progression. Here there might be no serious consequences and nothing bad will happen, but that’s what makes it boring to me. Art here just feels subpar, with badly drawn expressions and overuse of cheap chibi in comparison to the other manga titles (except for Spider Isekai, but that story went from a 10 to 1 recently). The MC and FMC in this manga just feel childish and 1 dimensional, with a fraction of Love is War MC and FMC’s dynamic.

Like I could see this having a score of 7.8 maybe but just feel that >8 is too high, which was what baited me to give this a shot. Comparing this to S-rank daughters lusting for their father, which is admittedly trash just going off the that but I still think deserve the 8 rating for the amazing art style, the GOAT MC being an actual GOOD father that doesn’t see his adopted daughters as love interests (for now, who knows later on) and simply someone they can rely on, and interesting adventurer plot and action.

I see we have similar tastes in what we have read, but different strokes for different folks I guess. I personally read 10 chapters, rated this a 6, then dropped it.
I don't think an story needs to have drama all the time and even less if said story is just starting, we're nowhere near being fully shown the main characters and even then there is a progression between the main couple, they grow closer aside from the sex be it either thanks to the twins or just because they clash frequently. We're just like 20 chapters in and you're expecting the general plot to go fast forward it's as if in Tokyo ghoul kaneki just went crazy during the tsukiyama arc that'd be stupid and again this story doesn't seem (for now) to go that kinda of route at all, it's just a enemies to lovers kind of story and at least for me it accomplished it's premise.

If your looking for a comedy that does not make sense this is for you. In the beginning i liked the summary i read of it and was hoping it would be him finding a way for revenge but the plot is just him getting fucked by the dragon with no rage at all of just temper tantrums. There is magically has a child which he doesn't hate for some reason. I would be enraged at having to share a child with my main enemy and if he really felt that all dragons should die he would kill the kid too. but as i said it's just another comedy. TBH if this were an ordinary dude who woke up to this then they would just go along with it. it should just be called raising a child with my Dragon wife frenemy. if you like this comedy still you will enjoy it but for me it's just over done now.

I think to really enjoy this you can't come in with preconceptions about what the plot is supposed to be. You've gotta just let it happen and if you enjoy it, then good for you. Ultimately you've got to leave logic at the door cause the premise itself doesn't really seem to matter. Maybe there will be a later revelation as to why these relationships are even possible.

Is it just me or doesn't the castle image at the very start of chapter 32 look like it was generated by AI? There are no tags saying there is generated AI used for the manhua but that castle really does look like it was generated by AI. Does anyone else see this or is it just me?

To be honest, I checked out the light novel after reading the 5 chapters and it's much better than this adaptation IMO. It also has two volumes out (second is partially translated I think). I don't appreciate the Manhwa's slight changes from the source material and it's overall more childish. The characters come off as much more mature in the LN and the relationship between Rosvitha (LN spelling??) & Leon is much more entertaining with their crafted insults and Leon's minor schemes and inner thoughts to pull one over on Rosvitha.

It doesn't need to be more erotica focused as I think the best writing in the LN is the slow evolution of their relationship. It's a classic story about two enemies with a "professional" respect and physical attraction to each other that starts to maybe grow into something else. Say what you will about the premise, but surprisingly I find it to be a fun story about building a complicated relationship with family. I've never been known to seek perfection in storytelling and I don't think every character needs to start off on a moral high ground being that they're fictional.
thank you for this might need to read the light novel]

Muen and Noia are so cute its heartwarming😭 cant wait to see more of the novel illustrated, it gets super sweet once they drop the bs and begin to admit their attraction, and there are a fair few events I'd like to see. I came into the novel expecting an ecchi(which it absolutely is), but similarly to what drillhead said, its a great dysfunctional family posing as a perfect one SoL and I tend up caring way more about those cutesy (nd frustrating) romance moments and their scheming and banter (not that the euphimisms the author manages to create for sex aint creative)

Dear Author,

I just wanted to take a moment to thank you from the bottom of my heart for creating Shut Up, Evil Dragon! I Don't Want to Raise a Child With You Anymore. I absolutely love this manhwa—it’s emotional, engaging, and beautifully illustrated. The story and characters have truly touched me, and I look forward to every new chapter with so much excitement.

I sincerely hope you continue releasing new chapters, even if it’s just monthly. Even if others stop reading, please know that I’ll still be here until the very end, cheering you on and enjoying every page. Your work means a lot to me.

Thank you so much for sharing your art and story with the world!

With lots of appreciation,

DaXaby from Portugal

Keep up the Good Work

So this dragon queen raped the dude into having two childeren with him but sees him as a property? I don't know how people can find this romantic ofcourse their relationship will change but it's still about a raped man and a woman who sees him as her property and people who can't see the reality of it disgust me because if the roles were reversed this would be considered trash story about a rapist Wich in that case it's the woman

No offense but did you actually like read the story? Because the main character DOESN’T and hasn’t treated it like a romantic relationship at all. Although it’s hinted that they start to grow feelings for each other, they stay out of an obligation to raise the children that were born (it’s the name of the story for crying out loud). Also, saying ‘switch the roles and people outcry’ just doesn’t even begin to scratch what even happened in the moment in relation to the story. The story doesn’t take itself seriously to that point, the story is focused on THE RAISING OF THE CHILDREN. There’s other series that have admittedly heavy and or interesting topics that don’t really touch on them as they are not the focal point of the story. Not every story is going to be beserk.
