So, Prometheus lives by the motto "No pain, no gain"?

And iirc, Wukong did some "Sky-deadlifting" like Atlas, as well. And got some lenghty imprisonment under a mountain, crushed by the rocks and unable to move.

I do not like where this is going. This is gonna build up with the plot ending in Wukong's victory.
Wukong's title is peerless over heaven, and there's a name related to him called "The Buddha who wins every battle". Prometheus's feats gonna come pale in comparison,

I'm calling it....

Wukong easily wins.

He's got way more hype than Prometheus and Way more feats to his name.

He's one of the few gods where irl stories makes him more powerful than he could ever be depicted in these stories.

For Prometheus they've had to invent new things to give him a chance. This pain chain Akantha is entirely made up.

For Wukong, likely the might have to even nerf him/not cover all his feats to still give Prometheus a chance.

TBF Wukong is a novel character and Journey to the West is just Buddhist Propaganda and uses the Shens aka the Chinese gods to criticize the government, please note Wukong was going to lose to Erlang Shen even if Erlang didn't get backup and Wukong struggles with beings who were revealed to be the Shen's pets essentially on his Journey with Tan Sanzang.
