I'm honestly kinda expecting Kintoki to "win", but there might be some fuckery afoot. Maybe his use of a primordial god's rune is determined to be an unacceptable outside factor, so Kintoki's win is deemed null and it goes on to the final fight. Meanwhile Odin fakes his demise so he can continue his plans, taking into account this new information of Kintoki having that rune.
That or if Kintoki wins and Odin fakes his death, Anubis sides with Odin because he's that eager to have his turn fighting (and/or mindfuckery on Odin's part), necessitating that Rasputin fight Anubis while Odin's plan is unfolding and things are going tits up.
Either way, Kintoki losing here does indeed feel too obvious. And Odin is an even bigger schemer than Loki, so having his plans set up such that win or lose the end result is a benefit for him? I could definitely see it.
