I wonder how many chapters we'll repeat the cycle of: "Oh is he coming back?! No, Odin sang him down again!" till we reach the conclusion of this fight and start of the final arc.

I honestly don't see how he could possibly win at this point.

Plus, IF he were to win, what of the manga then? Cause I'm pretty sure we're going to see those four primordial gods freed from their seal.... So the (fake) Odin can't die here, unless that's part of the plan too...
Maybe the primordials will find a way back when he dies somehow, I mean it was pretty obvious Kintoki would lose since the beginning because there'd be no villain left so this would be a nice "twist"

Calling the Nibelungenlied the greatest masterpiece is a very odd choice... Having never heard of it is fucking wild. I salute your commitment to only reading manga and listening to anisongs.

There's no way you've never heard Ride of the Valkyries lol

Of course it's the Ride of the Valkyries.. This comic has all the red flags.

It's not there yet. I bet Kintoki's Valkyrie is going to start singing it herself as a counter to Odin's verses.

Not gonna lie, seeing Odin's ability like that was creative and dope as hell. I don't think I've seen that kind of 'body control' before. At the same time, Odin's a dumbass for not saying "Rib, pierce thine lungs/heart." 'Entrails' in these kinds of manga might as well be the Baki-infinite-blood-storage-room.

Yep, sometimes, the Author creates those cool powers but forget to think about their limitations through, therefore giving the impression that their users are stupid... unless you wrote them as an hardcore sadist who enjoy hearing his opponents screams and watching them struggle.

Why did they put an inward curve in the middle of Kintoki's axe and very specifically have the spear go in it, only for that to not do anything? I figured the whole point of that was he would twist it to disarm Odin or break the spear. Wasted opportunity.
Go back and read that page again. He very specifically used it to shove Odin backwards, which is about all you could really expect him to do with one arm and an axe that ridiculously sized.
