I can only guess at what's got all the spoiler discussion people talking, but I hope you don't let it bum you out too much. Personally, I've been skipping over all the spoiler-marked messages and have not had anything spoiled to me, although the volume covers do vaguely suggest a number of things.

On a different note, I think it's a shame how often the types of issues created by things like workplace romances are not brought up. Or it's mentioned that it's problematic without clarifying why. The superior mentions how it'd look bad if he dated a 22-yr old female worker, but he doesn't explain why that'd look/be bad. The few times issues are brought up we don't see any proper action being taken. Their superior basically chided both of them and then demands them to be more careful, but doesn't do anything else. Can't he at least arrange for some transfer or bring this up with HR?

I will say that when the readers have these disagreements it's a good sign that the work is giving us plenty to think about! That's a plus in my book.

Back to the chapter: Mitsui has that naughty puppy energy. My sister has a dog who gets so excited about new people that she sits on their feet and pees all over. That's what Mitsui strikes me as. When he says "If dating her isn't an option, what should I do about the feelings I've developed?" The answer is "don't shit where you eat, puppy."

Damn, sorry a certain few are are making you feel bad. For what it's worth maybe, i hope you can find some comfort in the fact that a lot of people who enjoy this manga don't even go to the comments. Translating manga is totally a labor of love and often takes a ton of time and energy. Thank you so much for your work!

As for the chapter, i do like that the chief at least brought up the power imbalance between their two positions. Obviously they are adults and good people, but to co-workers who may not know them very well, the relationship can come off as mega creepy.

It's like ordering a Coca Cola, but getting a Pepsi or a Dr. Pepper. Sure, all 3 are carbonated dark soda but they all taste different.

People also have the right to discuss aspects of the work that they may or may not like. Romance, like other genres, takes many forms - and some of those forms are just not palatable for most readers.

At least you added spoiler tags around the relevant bits while expressing the issue in a non spoiler way. Knowing what kind of romance category this work falls into is best for everyone: the artist, the tl team, and the readers. Otherwise you're going to get people who are upset that the type of story the were reading suddenly shifted into a different lane within the same genre.

I'm sorry if the discussion upset the TL, but it is also upsetting for the audience as well. But that largely has to do with the work itself, not the TL

People did speculate based on the raw chapters but tv series already concluded and story is finished in there. It's not that popular so I don't even know if one can watch so easily but I found the ending by reading the reviews. This is definitely mediocre netflix j drama levels of story tbh but still it was fun to read the manga
