Psychedelia and magick have a lot of overlap. Within religion one is usually the precursor to the other, then phased out due to the dangerous nature of both.

The Golden Guide to Hallucinogenic Plants is a great primer on the subject while the Psychonauts Field Manual can teach you how to perform some of the stuff in this series.

The author has done their due diligence here. It's quiet a refreshing read compared to most who don't study, practice or partake but write on the subject.
