Just leave this task of beating Sannoh to me, Sakuragi.

Nope, sorry Sakuragi, you're just gonna underperform like always and Rukawa is going to show out. Then the second half comes and you will begin to grab a few boards and score like 8 points, then everyone is going to tell you that you were a major contributor, even though you turned the ball over countless times due to stupid mistakes and probably shot 4/17 from the field. I honestly don't get the point in trying to hype up an amazing performance from Sakuragi, when we've been shown countless times that the dude is just a roleplayer. Like, I get it, the dude plays his role well, but the author needs to stop making it seem like he is gonna do anything more than that when he obviously isn't going to; it's annoying.

One of the worst takes I've heard in a while, holy shit.

Sakuragi's contributions to the team, though not always flashy, are invaluable. His relentless rebounding and constant improvement, even to the point of analyzing Rukawa's play to enhance his own skills, demonstrate his dedication and growth as a player. While Rukawa's scoring prowess may overshadow Sakuragi's style, his role as a power forward, along with his aggressive rebounding and physical strength, plays a crucial role that complements the team's needs, and it's crazy how you ignore that... His plays may be rough, but the point of that is so we can go on the journey with him and see how much he has changed and transformed into something incredible. How can you not applaud your MC whose strength will always be able to help when the team needs someone relentlessly sturdy and whose neverending devotion and love for a sport makes him grow beyond what is normal? You shoulda long have fucking stopped reading if you finna be such a bitch.
