If you define your adulthood by what you drink, you're not there yet. But this is still cute. Edit: And if you try to define what others should drink, you're absolutely not there.

But I wonder when he'll develop the taste for the drink in the credits image.

@Varpie Spoken as someone who can only pretend to know how to enjoy tea. And if we're all stuck in the past like you, we can't improve.

I'm from a long line of English tea drinkers, and sugar is both a sign of low class and poor taste. Milk is enough of a sweetener.

Shoulda been milk tea. Wait...
Slime would love bubble tea...
Bubble tea would spoil him way too much. Once he's developed a taste at least for milky tea, then he can try bubble tea. The correct order of things is a large part of parenting.

wait, people drink tea without sugar!?!?
Tea with sugar is for manual labourers who take nearly no milk, and people already tired of life. Milk is full of sugar already!

I have strong opinions on tea drinking and I am not afraid to express them. God Save The King.

Of course. Pure tea with no milk and no sugar is the way to go. If you have to add either of those, it's because the tea you drink is low quality (as are most tea bags, loose leaf tea is the real deal) or it isn't brewed correctly.
Brits may consider themselves an authority on tea, but the OG tea drinkers are China and Japan, and they (usually) don't add anything to it.

@AnotherDuck this isn't being stuck in the past, it's knowing to respect the shared knowledge of millenniums of enjoying and improving tea (yes, improving it, even over the last 40 years the Chinese and Japanese teas evolved). But of course, as a Brit, you wouldn't know, since all you can do is claim other cultures as yours and make it worse. Tea is not an exception on that regard...

People do have weirdly strong opinions about tea. I drink mine from tea bags with no sugar or milk, but people should put whatever they want into their drinks, I say.
