oh dang, jelly's father is alive, even tho it said she was spoiled at the beginning i half expected her to have killed her parents or so lol

Dang he is built, if he's like "the rosary doesn't work" does that mean it has in the past, or did he leave as soon as jelly started showing 'changes' and left to try to 'solve' her evil villainous self haha

joke aside, as what was mentioned from the beginning, gods exist in their world, so wondering of which god does duke aspic's empty cross represent?. .

as for jelly being the goddess' reincarnation, her being a vessel for the goddess' descent would make more sense, mainly due to her possibly achieving the said requirements, which was the butterfly entering into her body. .

but then again, i can see why berger misunderstood her being the goddess as no human could possibly survived after having their heart getting pierced. poor guy. at least we get to know a bit more about the world, leaving aside that more questions just keep popping up. .

Did the cross actually react with old Jelly? If so, that's kind of crazy.

Nice reversal of the usual, where a doting cruel family raises spoiled cruel heirs. Did crosses really affect dead Jelly? The story she was possessed by a demon had backing, or at least long-term suspicions. The goddess lined up a perfect cover story.

Master Aspic is cutesy, but he's still a prime suspect in why the family raised a sadist if not a serial killer. How much has he suffered over the years...

That might not be a good thing, i swear one of the beginning chapters said that Jelly got so spoiled that she turned out this way as opposed to her parents also potentially being corrupt too, tho maybe she did also get possessed/something affecting the OG personality before her death lol

Given his reaction, covering himself in crosses and garlic makes me wonder if she was just a pure evil psycopath since the day she was born (in spite of her family's best efforts trying to raise her properly), and being inhabited by our slime protag after her deserved but nonetheless untimely demise means that she can now become a proper vessel for the goddess now...
