Revenge on Yuuji? I’d find that unlikely, there’s no reason to go through such a roundabout way to accomplish something the cult already do on a daily basis.

I think it’s more so that the cult itself was somehow involved with their daughter’s death, and that’s the target of her revenge.

Megumi was lying, not everything was part of the plan, but she have to say that to gain dominant over MC and crush his soul, to make him belief the Smiley cult is so divine, everything go arcording to their plans. Remember, the cult has been trying to appeared divinity every time possible.

Definitely going to be a body swap murder. Probably killed some other kid and faked his death to cover it up
