Yeah, also joining the bored crew... I hardly bother clicking on chapters anymore. This new arc is convoluted, and I'm totally lost. Wasn't Shirayuki supposed to go around making the lords sign an OK paper to have flowers along their roads in winter or smth? So she could earn enough cred to marry Zen? I don't mind some sidequests, but chapters upon chapters of sitting in tea rooms, making obscure references, inuendos, and playing mind games, is growing seriously tedious. It's not why we came to this series and not why we grew to love it.

On one hand, I really do want to see her and Zen getting romantic.
On the other, I am actually finding this arc kind of interesting. Some mysterious woman's been slipping roofies to the attendees of masked balls so they can do something nefarious without being noticed? That has potential. Frankly a lot more interesting than trying to get northern nobles to agree to plant some flowers.

Yes, and this noble went kinda like "I have more important problems so I can't bother to think about flowers. You want to plant them? Help me then".
As a matter of fact, I really like all these sidequests, it's the best way for Shirayuki not only to earn credit but to be really knowledgeable about the kingdom state of affairs so that she can be of help to Zen and his brother.

I don't know why people complain on every chapter. This manga has never been focused on romance; It's always been about Shirayuki's goals and journeys. And it's always had a more complex story than most other shoujo manga. Plus, the awkward translations make the story seem more complicated than it is. There's really not that much going on right now.
