They are in a hired wagon with a driver. Previously, at least, Alma and Luna were traveling together with others who were merchants. After the deceit at the city wall checkpoint, I figured that they were speaking pretty quietly about how Alma wasn't actually Luna's brother. But in this present travel with Raul added, they are not being discreet at all.

I don't think that there are other passengers, but Alma is using magic pretty openly with the driver present. That bugs me a bit.

So, Alma didn't even show his own stats to the other two, despite revealing theirs for all the world to see, possibly even the driver if he happened to look over his shoulder. Quite a scumbag move right after he refused to tell his gift. Although I don't blame him for that, as it wasn't his idea to share the info. But using the appraisal was his idea, yet he didn't show his own. Who knows why he's now hiding things when previously he was a blabbermouth and show-off.
