I can't remember hetero music manga/anime/novel that have happy ending.
So I will read this with this notion in mind.

Thanks for the chapter :D This is some seriously high quality scanlation work; the redrawing and typesetting done for this series were meticulous, and the translation work clearly conveys a lot (even though I have no idea what the original text is).

For lack of a better word, I love how "empty" this manga feels, which makes it unlike anything I have read before. It just makes all the stunning panels stand out more and feel alive. It's also as if you can hear the sounds of everything that is happening...

On the story side of things, this manga is also doing some rather interesting things. Having one character be an otherworldly abstract consciousness is certainly a choice. Yoshida is really going to simp for this otherworldly abstract consciousness as well. And, of course, Yoshida obviously has some struggle with music. Having the two of them explore music, not just in the "girls play rock music, the manga" type of way but in the "everything in the world is part of a harmony and has a sound to make" type of way; this could be something special.

You know, when I’ve first seen the raws for this on Morning Mag, I was also surprised by how “empty“ this work is, but I don’t think “empty” is quite the word. It feels more like “mute”. The script is very clean and concise. The art takes the lead on it. Even the music, all its impact comes from the art, not from any description of it on the script, or SFX.

it’s quite a different one. I’ve been enjoying it.

"I can show you some special music you've never heard before"
"really? that's wonderful"
"we'll play the music together, but we need to take our clothes off first"
