Might as well give an opinion on it myself (rezefeet here lmao). I generally adore Konoshima's artstyle, so it should go without saying they've done a great job here. Apart from that, I think the story is a very cute story about the idea of moving on, even with all the uncertainties it comes with. The struggle of picking your path is very real and relatable. You never know what the future holds for you, so all you can do is keep swimming forward. In the conclusion, as bittersweet as it may be, especially with us not knowing what Kunio's future holds for him or whether he'll be able to find something good for himself like Sasaki, there's still an ever-present ray of hope.

Really solid for a one-shot, in my opinion. It reads very easily as well. I'm glad we got to scanlate it and share it with everyone. I will implore everyone here to go check out Konoshima's other works (Ringo Ame, which is super short but also super sweet) and, most importantly, Utsuranain Desu, which I feel like will be an excellent fun manga to follow (we're scanlating that one too!).

Honestly, the uncertainty they felt is the same feeling i felt as a senior in highschool, not knowing what's next and the anxiety that comes with it. To be real, that feeling has never gone away, but as I put my feet more forward, the more I feel like I can make a life that would make me happy, at least I hope so lol.

Absolutely beautiful oneshot, I'm always left mezmerized by these kind of oneshots, I sometimes wish that the author would post a following chapter or two to show the characters in future but oneshots have their own novelty, afterall. Very relatable characters, the open ending makes it seems like the future is open for them, there is no visible end awaiting for their journey. I also went through a long stage of contemplation where I kept wondering if what I am going to do is going to be the right part for me, in fact, I still wonder if taking a different path in life would've been a better choice but you can't change the past, but you can change the future by giving it all. I loved this so much, 10/10. Thanks for TLing this oneshot, guys!
