Buyer beware: This is one of those partial novel adaptations that just goes for a bit and then stops abruptly.

That said, it's not on a cliffhanger or anything; the pace of this is so gentle that there isn't even any hint of romance in these pages, beyond background characters and the faintest of budding subtexts—I mean, if you're familiar with the genre you know where it's going, but as far as this manga goes it's just about a kid and a dude with their own respective baggage, who meet by happenstance, and happen find each other's company pleasant.

...Actually considering the questionable age gap, I'm just as happy the manga stops here, though it was doing a pretty good job of selling them as quietly kindred souls of a slightly sad sort who you'd be hard-pressed to condemn too strongly for falling in love. It'd be like kicking puppies. Sad, soulful puppies.
