Kageaki leaves Mana to sit with her regrets, perhaps out of kindness, perhaps out of an inability to use her for the innocent sacrifice, but either way Kageaki cannot be the one to save her and Mana's mistake cannot be allowed to be resolved that easily I suppose considering she was the one who brought about all of these events.
