Different universe. Sakura Spider supposedly participated in one of those Spider-verse crossover events, got lost, and ended up in a foreign universe. Hence the lack of funds and shelter.

It's probably because it's meant to be short series, like most of manga that are based on some foreign licenses.

- There is A type of manga, which doesn't plan much ahead and just goes with the flow, prolonging as much as possible.
(as long as sales are good)
- And B type of manga, which already has a plan what to do overall from start to finish.

Most series are type A, I suspect this one is type B.
