Didn't really understood this one well.
Did the MC asked for keeping the two child cards ?

Page 8 and 9 are confusing... Why did the opposite party gave one parent card ? Shouldn't the MC's side already have all 7 cards ? And page 9, she said "two of the cards that pass" did they have more ? And "if someone has to go, let me replace feifei". But aren't they both excluded ?

Sorry, English isn't my first language (and I always forgot that this manga is red left to right) so sometime it's confusing...

The three sects have six people and seven cards, whereas Shengjin has eight people and seven cards. So Wang Lu gave Shengjin a parent card so everyone can have a card.

As to the other point... wait until the next chapter.

I found that part confusing as well, though I'm sure he deceived everybody and only the Parent cards will pass the test, or both cards will make it through the test, but those with Parent cards will end up with better treasure, or something like that.

Yes, I think it'll be that.
Maybe the MC changed the word Parent and Child on the rules in the room (because he entered the room first he could had the time to do that) or he changed the worlds on the cards before giving them (less possible but who knows)

That's possible too, but I meant more that he lied about his interpretation of the rules, not about the rules themselves.
