I understand that. She's stubbornly pushing for the other guy that clearly doesn't want her.

But think about the potential here. There are very few manga where you get a FL who is completely infatuated with another guy, and then slowly and believably switches to the ML. I can only think of Golden Time at the top of my head, and the progression of that relationship was pretty sudden and not too believable as well. If they can actually pull this off organically with their characters, this story could be one of a kind.

In a bit of self-insertion, I'd want the ML to be at the very, very brink of giving up before the FL (if ever) makes herself clear to the ML that she's into him now. I could also take the ML pairing up with the black haired introvert girl and the FL regretting it heavily in the end.

NO I KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN, like i want more of those progressions where the girl doesn't look at the guy at all but the guy slowly wins her over. this really only happens in shoujo manga but the way it's handles is never at the level of what's happening here.

For manga, the first thing that comes to my head is "Last Game", although it's shoujo, but the it's from the POV of the male lead. (which i wish there was more of). Romance is pretty slow but overall really enjoyable imo.
There's also "Even If I Were To Die, I Wouldn't Choose You" but the characters aren't really all that believable but I can't help but root for the MC. I think it fits what you're looking for the best though.
For LN I'd recommend "Yumemiru Danshi wa Genjitsushugisha" It has a manga adaption and an upcoming anime adaption. It fits half of what you're looking for, although the actual content of the story isn't the best, but I ended up reading all of it in one sitting.
If you also have recommendations I'd love to hear them.

Sure if its truly slowly. If she swaps ships in a day/week, at that point it just feels like he was just a 2nd choice and its rebound dating, which sucks. "He doenst love me so youll make do."

If she switches within a week, or even a month, then it basically becomes a pornhwa.

Yumemiru Danshi wa Genjitsushugisha - I'm currently following this manga. I do like the initial premise, but the author tries so hard to make the MC seem smart, witty, and intelligent, that it kinda ruins him for me.

As for a recommendation that comes close to ideal, not sure if you've read "Please Love the Useless Me".
