Going by rental girlfriend readers, it is possible for people to both hate and love a series. Or hate to love, or love to hate it.

Otherwise though, it could be simply what is the main character of the story. When the mc is strong, they enjoy seeing them triumph. If the mc is weak, they hate seeing them lose.

Obviously the golden boy is not iding and playing with fire by himself, but it is inevitable nonetheless since the yellow boy can't possibly run from the crown prince anyways. If the MC is not by his side, he will get converted in no time lol

Just because he can go back doesn’t make the journey more convenient. If this manhwa actually repeats each run like Haruhi’s endless eight, I assure that you won’t be reading anymore

I think Gongja is feeling guilty from leaving his partner alone and pursue his own wish.
Man I'm feeling scared of this immersion thing, it's like you will lose yourself from existence.
And the thing is the original butler does have feelings for the
villainess, so as Gongja tries to pursue his love for her, his immersion will increase and ends up paying the price.
