Ok i love this story to death, but seriously what are the odds of him having a direct relation to the ONE PERSON that still remembers the constellation killer, if this isn't explained as some predestined prophecy thing I'm calling this 1 in 8 billion luck.

The pool of every person you know, plus every person that each of those people has ever known over the course of their entire lives is not a small number. At the very least, this coincidence is orders of magnitude more probable than 1 in 8 billion.

How many teachers did you have growing up? How many students did those teachers have over the course of their entire careers? Etc.

Hell, any two people in the world can generally be connected by fewer than 10 steps.

Agreed, it's still improbable that the MC and constellation killer both happen to be South Korean, but... eh. It's a Korean comic, whattayagonnado?

Ahh, i think MC actually can give the constelation killer his power but MC just don't want to and spawn the constelation killer puppet without any power intact, and because of MC unknown power, now he can FORCING the constelation killer puppet to be sealed inside MC, so thecnicaly if MC want to rival the constelation killer, he can just kill the other 7 pupet and make constelation killer cant using any of his puppet to run away.

Thats my guess too. Remember, the Tower chose our hero, they gave him the SSS-suicide ability, to steal the Regression ability, because they didn't like the direction the 'story' was taking. Considering their connection, I wouldn't be surprised if that was part of why they chose him too

Think of it in the oppsite way. It's not that he happened to know the one person who was in the class with him, he knew one person that happened to be in the class, as confusing as it sounds. The trauma sequence reconstructs the trauma based on the memories of the person. Because the constellation killed nuked his one brain, the skill used KoD's memories as a susbtitute. After getting rid of all of this subtitute memory, one person still remained however. It would be weirder if KoD knew NOONE in the local school in his area. So he just went through the people in his head and figured this was the only person that could have been there. Further considering that the director wasn't a major actor, like one of the teachers or one of the direct bullies, it's not that unlikely.

It's a bit of statistical stretch, but damn if it isn't emotionally delicious

Contrived as it may be, it sure is satisfying to read lmao. You can see why he was selected as the protag of this story by the librarian and the tower lmao.

Yea, its a bit contrived at times but I have to forgive the author, given the number of times he has made me say "Oh yea, he can do that" rather than introduce a new power. Summoning that ghost was one of those times.

I'm calling it fate. The chosen one.

Considering that the tower is very powerful, this isn't impossible. Remember episode one? Tower give MC a cheat skill but practically useless. Yet for some reason the next thing that he get make it incredible cheat skill. This is also the guy who get summoned to meet the managers twice. Countless people in countless reality never summoned by them yet there he is.

Also it's still entertaining and heart warming and cathartic. Kim Yul's story is someone's story in real life.

fuck. This is probably the only manhwa that can treat these topics with as much respect as this one can. Besides the Ukraine thing, this is perfect. And even that I can forgive, because this was written before the war started. It's still disrespectful that they predicted it as a civil war, but still.
