... of course, they removed all the chapters in between 6 and 14. Fine.

So, I can sort of tell why this got canned. It's not a bad manga at all, and I think it's got a solid concept, solid artwork, and the usual tropey shounen.... tropes. BUT. I get the impression this would have made more of a... well.... impression, if it came out in the 2010's. As it is, it's going up against a lot of, including past musical works manga, and it didn't quite have enough to stand out amongst the pack.

Well, that's what I got from it, at any rate. With any luck, I'd like to think the author will strike gold in the future.

writing a manga about music in shonen jump is always a tall challenge. well, at least it got a decent ending. i'll be looking forward for the mangaka's next creation

very interesting premise and characters that went nowhere and full of inconsistencies. such a shame. 6/10.
