Reading this in 2024, 20 years later, it all feels kinda sad. She deserves to be happy but everyone is so hateful. Glad the world and Japan has made progress but it's still not enough.
Although some of the characters are a bit weird (and should be jailed ngl.) The manga is pretty progressive but still has some flaws.
The queer culture of the late 1900's and early 2000's have always been really interesting to me; queer people have always existed and reading about them makes me understand a bit more about the experiences of living during a medias time period.
Really glad
they got away from the mc, glad she's figuring out the being bi thing though. (Feels like the author might not have intended for us to root for her in the first place which is kinda fun)
