I've read Strobe Edge thrice, and each time I notice something new. The first volume seems quite typical of the genre (cool unattainable boy, clueless cute girl with no experience in love), but the characters turn out quite nuanced, and the story's focus is on character growth (not just on love). The secondary characters have their own growth arcs and aren't there just in service of plot or the leads.
Of the three most popular Sakisaka Io works (Ao Haru Ride, Love Me Love Me Not), this remains my favourite.
